Jaina Prosopography Database is a project at SOAS University of London. It is directed by Peter Flügel in collaboration with Kornelius Krümpelmann.

You can navigate the map by a) zooming in and out using the +/- buttons on the right, b) using the scroll wheel (the wheel between your mouse buttons, if present), c) moving two fingers on your trackpad, or d) clicking on the green circles. You can also move across the map by clicking down and dragging with your mouse.
The map plots entities from the database (people, places, events, objects, roles etc). Clicking on a blue pointer will display the entities that are associated with that location, with links to their corresponding database records.
You can refine the number of pointers that are displayed on the map by using the Search or Date Filter on the left.
